Meet Helen F. and Alvin Copeland

Helen F. Copeland

Helen F. Copeland is a dynamic entrepreneur with a background in management and public relations. After working at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, she founded Copeland Communications Group (CCG), where she helped others achieve their entrepreneurial goals. Known as the "Maven of Mentoring,” Helen mentors individuals and has been honored by organizations like United Way Services and the YMCA of Greater Cleveland.

With over 12 years of experience in public relations, she has worked with notable clients such as the American Red Cross, Corporate College, and the Cleveland Foundation.

Helen holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Ursuline College and enjoys studying the Bible, visiting museums, and hosting tea events. She lives with her husband Alvin, in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

Alvin Copeland

As a partner of Cleveland-based Copeland Communications Group (CCG), Alvin Copeland is a speaker, trainer, auditor, and presenter. Prior to CCG, he held positions that included operations manager, plant manager, quality management representative, purchasing manager, and human resource manager. Alvin is a very effective trainer and presenter of complex concepts in a very practical, energetic, and entertaining way. The result has been noteworthy and has often delighted his classroom participants.

A graduate of the United Electronics Institute, he also attended the University of Akron and Cuyahoga Community College.

Alvin is married to Helen and lives in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. He enjoys gardening, sports, journaling, studying the Bible, and reading Plain Dealer Articles by Columnist Terry Pluto.
